Clients living in or visiting Cambodia can continue to handle consular matters that fall outside the scope of consular protection—such as applications for private passports or identity cards, citizenship-related matters, civil registry issues, maternity allowances, "baby bonds," document authentication, etc.—at the Embassy of Hungary in Hanoi and the Consulate General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, subject to prior appointment. Contact details and information regarding appointment booking can be found at https://hanoi.mfa.gov.hu/en and https://hcmc.mfa.gov.hu/en.

All information regarding travel to the Kingdom of Cambodia can be found on the Consular Service’s website at:

You can register for consular protection at the following link:

https://konzinfougyseged.mfa.gov.hu/

We recommend downloading the "KONZINFO UTAZOM" mobile app, which allows you to easily access information on the above topics and register for consular protection.

IMPORTANT! We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance in all cases, as the standard of general medical care in the Kingdom of Cambodia is low, while private healthcare facilities are extremely expensive. Without insurance, medical repatriation can only be arranged at one's own expense, as the National Health Insurance Fund does not cover it.
