Information note on resuming applications for long-term residency (D-type visa)

Dear Clients,

We kindly inform you that as of 15 June 2020 the Consular Office of the Embassy of Hungary will, according to general rules, resume application procedures for long-term residency (D-type visa) cases. Please take note that application submission is still subject to prior appointment booking via e-mail.

Please take note that former appointment requests registered and confirmed by the Consular Office for a date upon 15 June 2020 are still valid, no further arrangements are required by clients.
